How does the year-end tax adjustment affect my monthly take-home pay?
Monthly withholding uses simplified tax tables that approximate your annual tax liability. The year-end adjustment reconciles the actual tax owed based on your real deductions (medical expenses, education, donations, etc.) against what was withheld throughout the year. Most employees receive a refund, but those with significant additional income sources or fewer deductions than assumed may owe extra. This calculator shows the monthly estimate; your final annual liability will differ.
Are social insurance rates the same for all employees?
